    Need a countdown clock

    Hello everyone,
I would like code for a countdown clock that can count down to these events...
    Wonder Con Feb. 22-24, 2008
MotorCity Comic Con May 16-18, 2008
    Heroes Con June 20-22, 2008
Wizard World Chicago June 26-29, 2008
San Diego Comic Con July 24-27, 2008
I would like it to say
    "x days until Wonder-Con!"
While the event is in progress I would like it to say
"I am at --- where are you!!"
And when it is past the day of the event I would like it to put in a message that says
"Hope to see you next year at ---!!"

Thanks this is for a project in my first every web design class...

    Jason

    Re: Need a countdown clock

    If possible,
I would like to have these created so that I can put a clock into a <td> element.
I have all the elements on the same page, so I would like to put all 5 of the clocks on the same page, to have them embedded some how...

    Thanks,
    Jason

Did you search Google? The script from the first search result looks promising. Here is another one with a few more options.

    Re: Need a countdown clock

I have tried both of these codes before, the problem is it will only work in one of my <td> elements, if I put more than one on the page then it "merges" all the clocks into one. The other one has too many adverts on it, I am doing this for someone who does not want ad on it...
That is why I am hoping for codes from someone where the clocks work independently and I can use them on a page that has more than one table on a page..

Did you try different search terms? I did and found this script, which appears to meet your needs. If not, there are other results on that page.

Here's a Countdown Timer I found http://andrewu.co.uk/clj/countdown/ that didn't require any external links and comes in varying degrees of complexity from Simple to Advanced.
