    Save As Dialog Box

On a web page, when you have a link to a .doc, a .xls, a .ppt, or a .pdf...the browser automatically opens the file either in that borwser window. I would like to write a script or something that would force a save as dialog box to pop up rather than automatically open the file. This occurs when the file type is a .zip or .exe. I have searched a zillion html websites and javascript website...and I checked through the books that I have, and I can find nothing on the topic. If anyone has an idea, please let me know. Thanks!

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that this can be done when specifying the mime-type. You might try searching on that.

    To ufg8rgrl,
Did you ever get any option to work? I am trying to do the same thing. Thanks.
