Unhappy Please help me w/ Multiple Rollover Links II script!!

I just found this script and I really need some help with it. Ok first, http://www1.lunarpages.com/cyberschool/how/multirollover2.html HERE'S the script (if that link doesn't work you can look for Multiple Rollover Links II in the script section of http://www1.lunarpages.com/cyberschool/ ).

Now, say I wanted the picture of Charlie to load into another frame...
Do you think this is at all possible?

Please respond. I would really appreciate any help with this matter. I'm in the middle of a website design project http://www.thehourafter.com/testing2.htm and I really need to know if this script can somehow work with frames. Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you soon!

    Hi there.

    Should be possible.

Javascript works by defining an object using a path. I am sure you have seen scripts like this -

    Code:
    document.write(document.lastModified);
These are paths to certain information or methods.

Now, to access another frame, we can call on 'parent'. Assuming that the frame is called nav and the image is called picture it would look like this -

    parent.nav.document.images.picture.src

Heres a good introduction to accessing across frames -

Ok cool, thanks for helping. I have made a small page explaining everything since it would take up way too much space if I posted it in the forum. http://www.arashi.nu/thehourafter.htm Hopefully it makes sense. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks again!

The link you have given us is probably the best example code I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

I will have a go, give me some time, tho. Its late here, and I am sleepy....

    Hi Laura.

The part I am having trouble with is saving the various pages needed to make this work.

I would find it easier if you could zip up the sources and send them to me, if thats okay. Me email is dean@quietdean.com .
