    Passing username through a form

    Hello,

I've created a form that will be hosted in a secure area so the users will need to log into the site to complete the form. I need to pass the username of the person who completes the form to the database that is collecting the information. The login for the form is via LDAP and I have no access or control over that area.

    Thanks in advance,

Why JS?...It will be futile once the user disabled their JS....also, why not just use Server side language....(PHP, ASP).

That would most likely work, except I don't know PHP or ASP yet

    I don't know much on server-side language...I can't help you any further
...You might find it useful to create another thread in the PHP section with your issue
