Help with forms
I have constructed a website of several pages. One of these pages I would like to keep private so only our Club members may enter.
I have been told there is a way to do this, but in my searching, I haven't been able to find this way.
I would like a place where members would have to enter a PASSWORD which would then take them to this particular page.
Will someone with this knowledge please help me? Thank you in advance.

Re: Help with forms
You will have to search for a user authentication script that will suit your needs. Avoid any such script written in javascript.

Re: Help with forms
What your looking for is a small PHP /ASP etc script that registers your users, stores their passwords and then logs them in.
The only other way you can do it is with .htacess. It means manully getting their passwords and login names and creating a .htaccess and .htpasswd file. Its not terribly secure as data is sent unencrypted for the most past and quiet easily intercepted.

Re: Help with forms
Certainly you remember the spam that got you an infraction point? No, maybe you remember the threats meant to intimidate me into removing the infraction? No? Man, you are not to bright but maybe you remember me banning you because of the silly threat and all the spam. No? I guess you do not remember the second name you signed up with getting banned as well.
Oh well, maybe the thirst time is a charm
