Hi,
I just wanted to prevent user from reading particular file from the directory (if the file is already accessible from the web browser).I don't know how to prevent directory listing being shown on a web browser. can anyone help me?

If there is no index.html file in the folder it will default to the file listing. This can be stopped by htaccess but I find that including a blank index.html is just as simple.
