    base href is a tag that goes in ur head section...

    e.g:

    <head>
    <base href="http://www.manutd.com">
    </head>
    it makes all ur links direct under the url u put in ur base href.

    so, if i put

    <a href="manutd/manutd.html">
    in the same page as i put the code at the top,
    the url it would go to would be:

    http://www.manutd.com/manutd/manutd.html
    another base tag is

    <base target="...">

    Follow HTML On Twitter Add HTML on Facebook Add HTML on Google+ Add HTML on Linkedin Visit HTML's Youtube Channel
    putting in the full URL should overwrite the base.
