    Browser problem

    hi all,

    hey i ve problem like i ve a table in which i ve ve out some data and one more table in which i ve list of data like Movies, music ,news , etc, wen i view it in mozilla firework its looking good , but wen i see it in internet explorer 6.0 , All data in a table is in centre its not aligned properly its looking bad. plz help i am removing n seeing wats wrong but not getting plzz help..

    It would be helpful if you'd post a URL for the page you're having a problem with. In the meantime, you might also want to make sure that your page validates. Often times, fixing validation errors will correct the problem.

    Hi,
    i got dat, i mean i gave align="centre" i got it correct but my new problem is i ve wriiten java script code for displaying time in webpage so its not displaying in IE 6.0 so do u ve other code for displaying in page in index.html i ve wriiten java script code. do u ve it in CSS style , ?? if yes can help???i dont no CSS code or others u ve plzz thank u, in firefox its displaying monday 11 august 2008.. not in IE 6.0

    I don't have IE 6, so I wouldn't be able to help about that. If no one else responds to your problem, you might want to try searching Google for a script that works in IE 6.

    Basing on post#3, if you really mean that you were using align="centre", then it's erroneous, as it should be: align="center".
    Unluckily, that attribute is deprecated, use CSS' text-align:center instead.

    If nothing works, could you please provide a link to the page in question or showing us the codes will do.

    Hi ,

    text-align:left is not working in IE6.0 but align="left"
    is working in IE6.0 . the problem now i ve is in firefox i am getting space between the rows in which i ve not given anything. plz i will paste dat code plz check it in firefox as well as in IE6.0. this table is in <td> </td> if problem not solved i ll post u whole code.

    For your page to work well, ensure you have a proper DTD.

    The code you've given looks fine on my IE7 and FF. Can't test for IE6 as I don't have that browsers here. Let's wait for some other members who might want to verify the problem at your end on IE6.

    hi,
    thanks for replying so soon, as i was waiting , is it not like if it works in IE7 then it shud work in IE6.0.......
    have u checked dat in between (for example)list of chief ministers and great personalities there is huge gap in firefox but in IE 6.0 its perfect dat is height=25 only as i ve given in code

    hey thanks i got it!! the problem was i put <p> data </p>
    then i changed it into

    like <span class="style12" > </span> ... something like this so its working in both now no probs. i thank u for helping me.
